So last November, I had many many books due back to the library. It just happened to be during the 3 weeks our entire family was sick with the flu, asthma, ear infections, etc. I knew the books were due but the importance of turning them in was a low priority at the time. So after the colds let up, in December, we took everything to the library drop box. (If you wait too long, they consider the book lost, and that's not a good thing).
We were finally able to take a trip to the library this week to pay off the fines. This photo is of the long receipt showing the charges paid for each book that was late.
The total: $26 and change.
Ouch! Glad none of them were considered lost!!
